Alphabet Drill

Practise naming the letter before or after, all the way around the musical alphabet

A letter appears with an arrow pointing to the direction you need to answer in — type the letter that comes next on your keyboard. In Forward Mode you're always working A through G; in Backward Mode you're working G back to A; Mix Mode shuffles both so you can't just recite your way through. The sequence always wraps at the ends, so after G comes A again, and before A comes G. You can also choose whether the arrow points left/right, like moving along a keyboard, or up/down, like pitch rising and falling.

Speed Round

Race the clock to complete a lap of the alphabet. A starting letter is dropped into the row — at the beginning for Forward, the end for Backward — and you type the rest in order, as fast as you can. A wrong letter won't advance until you get it right, so accuracy still counts. Each run is timed against your last one at the same lap length, so you're always chasing your own record.
